Chicago is My Kind of Town

I was at Willow Creek Church outside Chicago this past Friday, sharing Jesus and skating in front of 2000 students and their parents. It was one of the best ministry opportunities I have had this year. I was so stoked to learn about how they minister to such a large group of people on a personal basis.

If you are not familiar with Willow Creek, they have over 20,000 people in attendance, including 1500 in their high school ministry and 1200 in their middle school ministry. I would like to personally thank Jason, Scott, and Matt as well as all the youth staff for being so welcoming and taking care of my needs. I was so encouraged that they just let me share my heart and passion for seeing people surrender to Jesus. We also had a lot of skaters show up and that was rad.

I was there back in 2004 with Stephen Baldwin and Kevin Palau where we talked about Livin’ It. Most of the kids who came had the DVD and now wanted to see me again a few years later. To sum it all up I had a blast!
I am now on my way to my next trip in Hermiston, OR for an outreach this afternoon. Please pray for us.

All for Jesus!
