Matthew 18

I did an outreach here in Portland this past Friday. The people who brought me out were awesome & I just wanted to serve them the best way that I could. This was a “family night event” with 100’s of little kids running around with all sorts of energy. The kids were so hyped and that is what made it so fun when I skated. The difficult part was sharing a message that was sensitive to a wide range of ages as well as people who had never heard the Good news of Jesus. God used us and it was great to have my good friends there too, especially my wife.

I was reminded of Matthew 18:1-5:
When the disciples asked Jesus who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?  Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. ” Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. ” Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.

God bless
