1. What is
freestyle flatland skateboarding?
Freestyle flatland is one of the more technical and difficult
forms of skateboarding.
As a one man show Tim can rattle out over 50 tricks in 15min.
on an 8/8ft area. only missing maybe one or two tricks, that is
probably more tricks actually landed by one guy than an entire
skate team.
Freestyle is also more personable and mobile and can be performed
on an indoor stage in front of 20,000 people or on the ground
outside in front of 50 people. All Tim really needs is two sheets
of 1/2in OSB. plywood, duct tape, and a sound system.
2. I know
nothing about these sports, how is freestyle flatland impressive
or relevant?
Only a handful of skaters in the world can perform these tricks,
chances are they do not live in your community.
Ramp and street skaters are a dime a dozen these days, most skaters
want to see things they cannot do or tricks they had never seen
before, besides in the video games.
3.
What about weather conditions?
Tim can skate wherever there is a level 8/8ft. area and is easy
to move around, making Tim easier to transfer as opposed to ramps
due to weather conditions.
4. Will Tim
share the gospel of Jesus christ?
Absolutely, above all things this is Tim's primary concern for
going to any community. As you know we are a management/booking
agency, we mostly
get asked about performance matters. If you were to ask Tim, you
would find out quick that he is all about
Jesus and the message of the cross.
5. Will Tim
hang around and skate with the locals and answer questions after
he performs?
Absolutely!

1. The popular
Livin It dvd says you're the current top freestyle skater in the
world, as well as other media resources is this true?
I have struggled with this issue for a long time, IT
IS NOT TRUE, I also have had articles written about me
that say the same thing, but just like a tabloid it is out of
my hands people will write what they want good or bad. There are
only a handful of amazing freestylers in the world today I consider
myself to be the least of these.
2. Do you
skate anything else besides freestyle?
I like to skate street when I have the chance, I can do some
of the average flip tricks, and ledge tricks. I have to keep my
focus on freestyle because that is what I do when I skate at demos
and outreaches.
3. The video
parts you are in are all freestyle why don't you mix it up a little
and add some street?
I enjoy freestyle the most out of all the other ways to ride
a skateboard. I also like having the video part that sticks out
regardless if people like it or not. I also want to help freestyle
flatland become a stand alone sport.
4. Why combine
skating with a church message?
When I excepted Jesus as my lord and savior, it changed me so
much that I want nothing more than to share that message, I also
love to ride my skateboard.
